Mr. Jackson has served as the Mayor of Eloy since 2004 and has been part of the Eloy City Council since 1996.

"At the end of the day it's the city that matters to me". At a local Annexation meeting the Mayor was heard saying, "I'm telling you the growth is coming and developers are going to swallow up the land like there's no tomorrow".

The Mayor also said, "If we don't grab it, Casa Grande will, or Coolidge or Marana will. It's all being done from a planning standpoint. There's no doubt about it, Eloy could be a nice little mecca between Phoenix and Tucson".

Talking about bring new businesses to Eloy the Mayor said, "The council and staff have worked hard to develop a community that supports new business growth".

Speaking about the new Union Pacific Dual Tracking through Eloy the Mayor said "The benefit of the double tracking is UP's ability to double their inter-model capabilities, thus far moving more goods and services for consumers to purchase, and basically doing their part to help stimulate the economy."
